We have been writing about AI for almost as long as stories have been written. Fictions about robots, automatons and oracular brass heads have been with us long before Star Wars’ C-3PO and 2001’s killer computer HAL. Now, researchers want us to consider why the stories we tell ourselves about AI will have an impact on all our futures.
