Biography

Konstantinos Konstantis is a doctoral candidate in Science and Technology Studies at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, School of Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His dissertation concerns the emergence of engineering ethics (especially AI ethics), focusing on the role of engineering societies in ushering this emergence through the institution of special committees. Konstantinos holds an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Science and Technology Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. A recipient of a dissertation fellowship from the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation, he was the 2022 Elizabeth & Emerson Pugh Young Scholar in Residence at the IEEE History Center.
