Demetra Brady

Biography

Demetra Brady is currently studying for the MPhil in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge on a scholarship from the Cambridge Trust and Newnham College. Demetra’s philosophical work focuses on the epistemology of mind and the philosophy and ethics of technology. This year she is working on a research paper on the ethical and societal implications of algorithms, data and AI supervised by LCFI Senior Research Fellow, Rune Nyrup. She has also worked at IBM for two years in interactive experience and digital strategy consulting and she has contributed to projects at AI for Good UK. Demetra holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
