Research Assistant

I am a machine learning (ML) Research Assistant at the LCFI working on aligning the assessment of cognitive abilities in artificial intelligence (AI) and human employees.

Before this, I completed an MSc in AI from Imperial College London’s Department of Computing. I conducted my thesis in the Adaptive and Intelligent Robotics Laboratory under Dr Antoine Cully. The project focused on leveraging the experience of so-called ‘ancestor’ robots to help ‘descendant’ robots to better adapt to unexpected situations.

I plan on doing a PhD in Computer Science and AI. I am especially interested in biologically inspired algorithms and how AI and ML can develop our understanding of the natural world, especially in neuroscience and cognitive science.

In my free time, I enjoy playing music, practising martial arts, and learning about various topics such as existential risk, machine consciousness, and embedded systems.

Feel free to get in touch if you would like to chat about anything.
