Biography
My name is Daehyun Yoo, originally from South Korea and PhD candidate in Economics to the Tuscan PhD program in Economics at the University of Siena, forming a consortium with the University of Florence and the University of Pisa, Italy.
My dissertation is about the ethics of artificial intelligence (AI). I focus on the explicability of AI from an economics perspective by understanding how the individual make ethical decision or reason over competing/conflicting principles or values in dilemma.
During my research visit to Dr. Rune Nyrup, I intend to develop a framework to enhance the explicability of AI and expand its potential as a compatible method in autonomous vehicles environment setting. I look forward to greeting you all and discussing the issues in the AI system.
