Ethics and Society: CogX 2020

Ethics and Society: CogX 2020,  8-10 June 2020

Adrian Weller, Kanta Dihal, Olivia Belton and Jonnie Penn are speaking at the CogX 2020 Festival which this year offers a virtual experience due to the current pandemic. The organisers are expecting over 30,000 participants including 600+ speakers across 18 topic stages and 100+ side events.

The theme this year is, “How do we get the next 10 years right?” with aims to:

• Move the conversation forward with concrete actions
• Inspire current and future generations of leaders
• Help reframe the climate emergency as the biggest economic opportunity in the last 200 years
• Help increase understanding of the current Covid-19 pandemic and champion innovative solutions

All the Leverhulme CFI researchers are participating in the Ethics and Society topic strand, co-curated by CogX and the Ada Lovelace Institute. Kanta and Olivia are joining a panel discussing AI Myths and Male Fantasies (Day 2, 10:00). and Jonnie is joining  two panels at the end of Day 1 and Day 2.
