Leverhulme CFI welcomes Goverment Office for Science's report on AI

The Government Office for Science has released its report on 'Artificial intelligence: opportunities and implications for the future of decision making'.

The report can be found here.  

This report looks mostly at the role of AI in future prosperity, impact on the job market and the role of AI in Government and Government in AI. The key concepts are privacy, algorithmic bias, accountability and trust. The report concludes on the need for public dialogue on the role of machine decision making in society.

LCFI welcomes the Government Office for Science's report and the call for public dialogue on the role of machine decision-making in our lives.
